THE DIPLOMAT'S DAUGHTER

The Diplomat's Daughter TM
Ariane Sommer was born in Bonn, Germany and is a self-proclaimed 'child of the world.' She moved to Sierra Leone, Africa at the age of 8-weeks, beginning the first of her many global adventures.
Her immediate introduction to our vast world was the result of her father's position as a German Ambassador. Stations in her life included Freetown in Sierra Leone, New Delhi, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Antananarivo in Madagaskar, Miami, Berlin and London. Currently she resides in Los Angeles and New York.
An important benefit of her worldly childhood was the fact she learned to appreciate and respect the differences these varying cultures offered as well as an innate awareness of what it means to be a citizen of the world. In addition, she learned to fluently speak five languages -- English, German, Spanish, French and Italian, at the moment she is learning Mandarin.
One of Sommer's mantras is "We don't have to be alike to get a long."
Another result of Sommer's global exposure and family heritage is her trademarked name "The Diplomat's Daughter TM," which has been synonymous with referring to her in all forms of media for many years.
One of Sommer's greatest concerns is human tolerance and acceptance of one another, a topic that will be a pivotal focal point in the newly revised edition of her book The Bible of Behavior.
Ariane Sommer is on the board of directors for Care for Kenya The charity's mission is to fight poverty in Kenya by providing education and creating sustainable change through micro loans for small businesses.
Sommer is also the ambassadress of the "Sierra di Lion Sharity Trust Fund", a registered association launched by herself, Mallence Bart-Williams, Alexander Oetker and the singer Patrice.
