Alex Mondo, 28, is a rising photography star in the international art scene. In her works she documents her often dark and violent sexual encounters with varying men. Her life is overshadowed by the fear of the outbreak of the genetic blindness her father passed on to her.
Tom Weiss, mid-30s, is the Creative Director of a thriving advertising agency. On the surface he lives the dream of the classic alpha male: he has a successful career, plenty of money and is surrounded by beautiful women. But this façade hides a man suffering from the superficiality and meaninglessness of his life, yearning for love and affection.
At a business dinner in Rome their paths collide. They spend the night together and Tom falls in love. When Alex also begins to fall for Tom, fear overcomes her and she quickly retreats. They have to decide: love, lust or loneliness… or is it possible to have it all?
